A Time For A Change

What if……One Decision Could Change It All?

Welcome back my friends!

Some day when………..

Have you ever heard someone say this and you think yeah right? You know they are just dreaming and will never follow through!

What about you? Have you ever said something like that and immediately knew it was not going to happen?

The someday when syndrome hits us all when we:

1. Have a weak belief in ourselves or the desire we have
2. Do not know how to even begin to work on a dream or goal
3. Feel we lack the resources
4. Feel like we just are not that kind of person
5. Feel that everything has to be perfect for that to occur

The biggest tool for change that busts through the “someday when” syndrome is the power of decision!

When you make a decision you cut off from any other possibility than succeeding at what you want. Now of course this requires follow through and action as well but without the decision all that is unlike to happen!

Remember in the video we discovered that decision is what separates the “Should’s” from the “musts”!

Now lets go over the steps to making that someday dream a today reality!

Bring someday to today by making a decision today!

Steps

1. Get very clear on what you want and when you want it by
2. Define a very clear and compelling why
3. Decide on 3-5 top actions to make it happen
4. If there are “either/or” or “do or do not” decisions use mitigation to decide
5. Commit by creating a timeline to accomplish
6. Take an immediate action here and now to get started

Decision is the single most powerful tool to begin any change, transformation or progress! Then followed by immediate action!

If you harness this power of decision today and take immediate action you will be ahead of 99% of the world with making that one simple decision and taking an immediate action!

With all that said not every decision will be the right or perfect decision but I can assure you it is better than making no decision at all.

When you make a decision and follow through you will find:

1. The decision s taking you in the right direction and may need a few timeline or functional adjustments but is the “right” decision
2. The decision may have not been the right decision and then you can adjust, learn and grow!

In essence there may be no wrong decision just the right decision or a growing experience!  In all cases I can assure you NO DECISION is the WRONG DECISION!

Now it is time to go to work!!

Go through the steps above to make a decision and take your first action! Get to it! When is now the time? Yes now!

My friends this is not always going to be an easy journey but I can’t stress enough that you get one life, this is not a rehearsal for the next go round!  Live you life today like it matters because it does and it is the only one you get!
