Are you paralyzed by fear? Do you find yourself missing out or opting out because the uncertainty is just to much?
You are not alone! Especially in the economic, political and worldwide turmoil that is currently going on!
The truth is tough, challenging and uncertain times are the ones where the greatest progress can be made!
Fear is really nothing more than a signal that something needs attention. Sometimes immediate and drastic measures are necessary and others it is just a simple adjustment.
With that said fear is more a tool than a menace!
The cure to fear comes in 5 easy steps!
1) When you feel fear just remember that it is a sign that something needs your attention.
2) Ask what does this really mean? Do I need to fight, flight, freeze or simply take an appropriate action?
3) Make your decision, count back 5-4-3-2-1 and take action. Do not hesitate because after 5 seconds your brain will take you out of the game!
4) Take your action, evaluate and adjust as necessary
5) Celebrate your win over fear or uncertainty! This is where you build decision making muscle and self confidence!
My friends this is not always going to be an easy journey but I can’t stress enough that you get one life, this is not a rehearsal for the next go round! Live you life today like it matters because it does and it is the only one you get!
